Laura Elphick is an Ecosystem Manager at EIT Food, Europe’s largest agrifood innovation community. Her role involves finding likeminded organisations to collaborate and partner on food systems transformation. Laura has a BSc in Consumer Behaviour and Marketing and is passionate about engaging all citizens in how to future-proof the food system.

About this session:
This presentation will explore the steps needed to create a net zero food system. It will feature examples from across Europe to discuss the challenges that prevent us from achieving net zero emissions in the food system, as well as some of the solutions that can help us. There will be a spotlight on regenerative agriculture with an emphasis on why we need to support farmers and land managers alike and the importance of collaboration amongst all stakeholders.
